Writer's picturejamani duo

Lethbridge ArtWalk 2016

Matt Groenheide will be playing twice for this weekend's ArtWalk, part of Lethridge Arts Days 2016. ArtWalk is a two-day, self-guided arts tour in downtown Lethbridge. Local musicians can be found performing at downtown locations on September 30 and October 1.

On September 30 at 1:00pm, Matt will be performing with the multi-talented George Fowler on cello, guitar, and voice. Matt and George play together in the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra and are former bandmates from folk band Junkman's Quire. They will be playing a mix of rock, folk, Celtic, and African music on steel pans, cello, guitar, kalimba, voice, and more.

On October 1 at 2:00pm, the jamani duo will be performing their fun and quirky mix of world, pop, and classical music. Matt and Jodi Groenheide will be playing steel pans, kalimba, flute, cajon, hand drums from around the world, and more!

Both performances are free, about 50-minutes in length, and located outside of Blueprint, Lethbridge's independant music shop at 519 - 4 Avenue South, Lethbridge.
