The j.a.m.ani duo will be performing a concert this Saturday, June 21 at Coaldale Mennonite Church (only 15 minutes from Lethbridge). Matt and Jodi will be performing a mix of classical, world, and jazz music on flute and a collection of percussion instruments around the world. The performance will include fun music for Caribbean steel pan and hand percussion, Afro-Cuban improvisation on vibraphone and marimba, beautiful Brazilian music for flute and marimba, the world premiere of a comedic snare drum duet composed by Jodi Bartell, and much more!
This is an all-ages, family-friendly event. Admission is free. Donations will be gratefully accepted to support studies at the University of Southern Mississippi.
