We are excited to be working on plans to come back to Sundre for jamani hands on! 2021.  We weren't able to hold a regular camp last year due to Covid restrictions, but we did have a lot of fun bringing the music to you!  Check out our jamani hands on! Yard Sessions.

This year, in addition to our camps for ages 7-11 and ages 11-16, we are also planning to offer a fun, low pressure evening for adults and a chance for 3-6 year olds to have a taste of the fun!  Check out all three opportunities below!

Our week-long youth camps for ages 7-11 and ages 11-16 introduce students to the joy of drumming in a fun and educational summer camp!  Get your groove on while playing Caribbean steel drums, African hand drums, trash bins and buckets, and keyboard percussion instruments!  Plus, students in the ages 7-11 camp will make their own percussion instrument to play throughout the week and take home with them.  No experience required.  Don't miss this fun summer music adventure!

jamani hands on! junior is an opportunity for younger children to engage in play-based, age-appropriate musical activities.  Children will be up-close-and-personal with many different instruments as they drum, sing, listen, laugh, and dance.  Watch your young child's imagination come alive as they explore the world of percussion!

Join us for a fun, low pressure evening out for the young at heart!  By the end of the night, you'll be able to play a tune on the Caribbean steel drums and you'll have a chance to find your inner rhythm while trying out several other percussion instruments. No experience required!

Check out this recap from jamani hands on! a few years ago:

"Our daughter Zoée participated in the jamani hands on drumming camp in Sundre last week. She had a great time and we are just thrilled that she had this opportunity. Thank you to all who participated in supplying instruments and coordinating the camp. Matt and Jodi, you are wonderful coaches!"
